Our Steins Traube Pinot Noir was made in collaboration with Sebastian Erbeldinger (DLG Young Winemaker of the Year 2019) from the Bastianshauserhof winery in Bechtheim.
Grapes from the Heiligkreuz and Hasensprung sites in Bechtheim were place in traditional barrels and used barriques after selective hand-picking and 2 weeks of maceration. The brilliant result is a complex and elegant Pinot Noir with aromas of wild berries, cherries and a woody base note.
It pairs perfectly with meat dishes such as game, goose or beef. Slightly chilled, it is also ideal for cheese or pasta dishes.
